The deserted diamond mining town of Kolmanskop in Namibia. In 1917 it was the wealthiest town on earth but now it has become a place where the ghosts walk even during the day. In Windwalker Adam Buchanan, my hero, has made a home for himself in one of these grandiose but decaying houses, which is clinging to the edge of the world...



I was thrilled to discover that talented artist Alison Brooks used my first novel, The Midnight Side, as inspiration for her striking painting, The Choice. This is a picture of the artist and her painting.
